His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met on Tuesday with leaders of pioneering organisations in advanced technology fields, during a visit to Silicon Valley, California.
During a meeting with Sam Chaudhary, founder and CEO of ClassDojo, a leading platform in educational technology and school communication, the Crown Prince discussed opportunities for the exchange of expertise and cooperation between ClassDojo and the ‘Siraj’ project—an educational support platform in Jordan—as well as the potential for developing the platform’s tools for vocational and technical education and training programmes.
His Royal Highness also held a meeting, organised by Rainmaker CEO Augustus Doricko, with the founders and CEOs of several technology companies specialising in a range of fields.
The meeting explored ways of strengthening cooperation in the areas of productive solutions and creative artificial intelligence, the development of autonomous logistics cargo aircraft, robotics technology for drilling and mining, and unmanned aerial vehicle systems.
The meetings were attended by Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat, Jordan’s Ambassador to the United States Dina Kawar, and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain.
The Crown Prince also held a meeting with Jordanian-American technology investor Isam Qubain, during which His Royal Highness commended Qubain’s achievements in Silicon Valley, as well as his initiatives to advance sustainable development in Jordan’s humanitarian and scientific fields.
