His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met with MP Emily Thornberry, chair of the United Kingdom House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee.

During the meeting, held in London on Monday, the Crown Prince commended the long-standing relations between Jordan and the UK, which have spanned nearly eight decades of effective partnership and cooperation.

His Royal Highness praised the UK’s recognition of the State of Palestine, noting the alignment of views between the two countries regarding efforts to achieve peace.

The Crown Prince highlighted Jordan’s continued efforts to reach comprehensive calm in the region.

The meeting also touched on the three economic modernisation tracks that Jordan is implementing.

Jordan’s Ambassador to the UK Manar Dabbas, and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain attended the meeting.
