Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah II, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on Sunday received United States Senator Joni Ernst, and her accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, held at Al Husseiniya Palace, the Crown Prince emphasised the importance of de-escalating tensions in order to achieve regional and international stability, underscoring Jordan’s commitment to supporting efforts to bring about comprehensive calm in the region.

His Royal Highness also warned of the dangerous situation in the West Bank and Gaza, stressing the need to commit to implementing all phases of the peace plan in the Strip.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain attended the meeting.
