His Majesty King Abdullah II met with United States Senators Angus King and James Lankford on Tuesday, where His Majesty called for reaching comprehensive calm in the region, highlighting the United States’ pivotal role in this regard.

The meeting, attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II at Al Husseiniya Palace, covered the strategic partnership between Jordan and the United States, as well as ways to enhance cooperation across various fields in service of mutual interests.

Discussions also addressed the developments in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as the situation in Syria.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Director of the Office of His Majesty Alaa Batayneh attended the meeting.
